Puva is a warm and curious psychologist who believes that every story deserves to be honoured and respected, and that we are so much more than our stories alone. With a deep understanding of how neurodivergence can intersect with trauma, she brings both clinical expertise and lived experience to her work, creating a space where you and the people who love you feel safe, genuinely heard, and gently held. Puva's therapeutic style is non-judgemental, collaborative, and neuro-affirming. She is particularly passionate about supporting high-masking neurodivergent individuals, because everyone deserves care that truly sees them. She has experience working with children, young people, and adults navigating trauma and complex trauma (including PTSD), anxiety, attachment difficulties, identity exploration, gender diversity, perinatal mental health, and the unique experiences of neurodivergent individuals and their families.

Approach and areas of interest: Puva specialises in EMDR therapy and has completed advanced training in EMDR for children and adolescents, as well as neurodiversity-affirming EMDR. She integrates EMDR with attachment-focused approaches, Schema Therapy, and the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP). She is also trained in the SPACE programme for childhood anxiety and perinatal mental health support through COPE. Puva conducts autism and psycho educational assessments using a neurodiversity-affirming framework.

Therapist funding models: NDIS; SIRA; Medicare rebates available with a GP MentalHealth Care Plan; private sessions.
