You may be seeking a therapeutic space where you feel safe, respected and genuinely supported. Kirrilee brings a compassionate and thoughtful presence to her work, placing strong emphasis on building a trusting professional relationship where your experiences can be explored with care. Her practice is grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed therapy, with Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) forming a central part of her therapeutic framework.
Kirrilee understands that emotional and relational difficulties often arise in the context of lived experience, attachment and broader social environments. In therapy, you are supported to better understand emotional responses, patterns of relating and the impact of past experiences on your current wellbeing. She works collaboratively and flexibly, tailoring interventions to your individual needs, particularly when supporting emotional dysregulation, trauma-related distress and attachment difficulties.

Kirrilee has experience supporting individuals, families and the broader social ecology with a wide range of concerns, including trauma, grief and loss, mood and anxiety difficulties, interpersonal challenges, behavioural concerns, and issues affecting daily functioning and parent–infant attachment. Her integrative approach allows her to respond thoughtfully to complex presentations while supporting sustainable and meaningful change.

Approach and areas of interest: Kirrilee is a trained EMDR therapist and integrates EMDR with trauma-focused therapy, Schema Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness- and somatic-informed approaches. Her work is underpinned by core social work values of dignity, empathy and respect, and she is committed to ongoing professional development to continually strengthen her therapeutic practice.
