Meet Us
Gretta Bottomley
Clinical Psychologist
Accepting clients for EMDR Intensives

Gretta is currently only accepting clients who would like to do an EMDR intensive. In total the program is the equivalent of 10 x 50 minute sessions condensed into 1-2 weeks. With this model you can expect to achieve more than you would in conventional therapy, so it is more time and cost effective. We get really specific about what it is we are working on and your goals and stay targeted on moving though the 8 phases of EMDR processing, doing deep lasting work to give you relief from trauma related symptoms.
Gretta is a warm and compassionate therapist who priorities her therapeutic relationship with clients. She believes that a collaborative, client-focused approach creates a strong foundation to work through difficult experiences, and work toward meaningful and lasting change.
Gretta has experience working with adults struggling with a range of concerns including relationship distress, parenting difficulties, difficulty coping with traumatic or stressful events and changes, mood problems, and personality disorders.
Gretta draws on a relational, attachment-focused approach to her work with clients, which views the client in the context of their early life experiences and family of origin. She works predominantly using Schema Therapy and EMDR and Circle of Security Parenting, working integratively to meet her clients needs.
